Klingenstein Small Grants Program

Mission

The Paul Klingenstein Family Foundation, Inc. aims to provide financial support for organizations whose work is related to three causes valued by the late Paul and Selma Klingenstein and their family:

  • Judaism and Holocaust studies
  • The welfare and protection of animals
  • The creative and performing arts

Eligibility

The Foundation will accept small grant applications from organizations that have received recognition of tax-exempt status under Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3).

The Foundation does not make grants to individuals.

Timing and Amount of Grant Awards

The Foundation will consider requests for grants from $1000 to $5000. Applications must identify exact funding needs and, in order to serve as many applications as possible, the Foundation reserves the right to award partial grants.

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Decisions may take up to three months from receipt of applications, so please apply well in advance of anticipated funding needs.

All of the Foundation’s grant and scholarship programs are overseen and managed by a Grants Committee.
